Osram supports talent promotion for lighting designers

Osram sponsored the international talent programme "40under40" again this year, thus supporting the future of lighting design. The winners were honoured on 3rd May at London Hilton Park Lane during the prestigious Lighting Design Award ceremony.
"40under40" honours 40 lighting designers under 40 as representatives of the new generation of lighting design talents and as ambassadors for their industry.
The 22 men and 18 women - selected from over 350 applications - come from 12 different countries, including the UK, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, India, China, Brazil, USA, Germany, Italy, Singapore and Sweden. ‘The achievements of these outstanding young people – be they creative, academic or philanthropic – are phenomenal and the selection panel were incredibly impressed,’ said Ray Molony, chairman of the 40under40 international selection panel.
