Insufficiently glare-reduced luminaires are a nuisance for residents, while at the same time freely visible LEDs may dazzle car drivers and be safety risk.
The DL30 offsets this risk with reflector technology that sets standards – the 3-zone faceted reflectors transform high luminance values of the LEDs into highly homogeneous, standard-compliant illumination with flowing contrast transitions.
Visual comfort and therefore the perception for identifying hazard situations is improved, and vehicle drivers gain a better overview of traffic situations with more time to respond. The feeling of safety increases, as well as oerall acceptance for a new LED lighting system.

Far field (1)
The central faceted reflector guides most of the emitted light specifically into the far field.

Central field (2)
Light is emitted without deflection and highly efficiently direct from the luminaire. LEDs can‘t be seen from typical observer positions. Direct glare is impossible.

Near field (3)
The lateral faceted reflector guides the light to the area directly below the luminaire. The light distribution ensures best possible glare restriction.
