Standard metal core star board for DURIS S 8

DURIS S 8 is offered in two different versions at two different lumen levels. Having the same footprint for both versions provides the flexibility to use the same board to evaluate both versions. This board is ideal for testing and prototyping of applications that require higher flux, but have tight spacing requirements. Applications such as MR16 will only need one DURIS S 8 LED to provide enough light for even a 50W replacement.

Standard metal core star board for DURIS S 5

Standard metal core star board that can be used for testing and prototyping purposes on multiple LED applications with DURIS S 5 LEDs. DURIS S 5 LEDs are offered in three different versions: optimized for cost (GW PSLLS1.EC), optimized for lm/W (GW PSLMS1.EC) and highest flux (GW PSLPS1.EC). Having the same footprint for all versions provides the flexibility to use the same board to evaluate all versions at the same time. This board is ideal for testing and prototyping of applications that require higher flux, but have tight spacing requirements.

DURIS E 5

A 12″ x 0.5″ narrow board with 48 DURIS E 5 LEDs placed in a linear fashion. This board has an LED to LED pitch of 6.35mm, however the on board jumper resistors (R4 and R5) can be unpopulated to have every other LED turned on (LED1-24 or LED25-48), if the application allows larger LED to LED pitch. Please download gerbers and take a look at the mechanical layer for more information on LED arrangements and pitch. This board is ideal for evaluating DURIS E 5 in many applications including linear applications, channel letter applications and edge lighting applications.

DURIS E 3

A 12″ x 0.5″ narrow board with 72 DURIS E 3 LEDs placed in a linear fashion. The board has three on board linear drivers and each driver is driving four stings of six LEDs. This board has an LED to LED pitch of 4mm, however the on board jumper resistors can be unpopulated to have every other LED turned on to increase the LED to LED pitch. The board also has board to board connectors to simply extend the length of the board beyond 12″. This board is ideal for evaluating DURIS E 3 in many applications including linear applications, channel letter applications and other applications as appropriate.

Brilliant Mix A19 evaluation board

A 2″ circular board specifically designed to evaluate Brilliant Mix in A19 applications. The board has OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ EQ White and Amber LEDs to achieve high CRI and high efficacy warm white by mixing the two LED types. The board can be configured to evaluate either 60W or 100W incandescent replacement lamps using Brilliant Mix technology. Also included in the board is the footprint for an on board NTC. Using an on board NTC, the LED currents can be changed to maintain color and flux at various junction temperatures of the LED. To learn more about 60W and 100W configurations, please download the gerber and consult “BMA19_Config.pdf.” This board can also be used to evaluate any other application with a 2″ circular board where 16 OSLON LEDs can be used.

OSLON Cluster

A 1.2″ x 1.2″ square metal core board with two individually addressable strings of four OSLON SSL or OSLON Square LEDs. This board is ideal for evaluating the OSLON family LEDs in multiple applications, including spot lights and any other directional lighting applications. Since this board has two separate strings, it can also be used to evaluate the Brilliant Mix concept or other two channel concepts. Brilliant Mix is a technology used to achieve high CRI and high efficacy LED systems by mixing EQ white and Amber LEDs from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. For more information on available configurations using this board, please download the gerber and consult “OSLON4_4_Config.pdf.” This board also has mounting holes and requires using an off the shelf LEDiL optic (F11355_Oslo-Cluster-W-OSL) designed for OSLON LEDs.

Linear board for OSLON

Very narrow (0.5″ x 12″) linear board with 24 OSLON SSL or OSLON Square LEDs from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors arranged in a linear configuration. Two strings of 12 LEDs are connected in series and each string can be individually addressed with common LED+. Both strings can be connected in series by placing a zero ohm 1206 (package type) resistor such that all 24 LEDs are in series connection. Depending on how many LEDs are used, an LED to LED pitch of 0.5″ or 1.0″ can be achieved. This board is ideal for, but not limited to, testing any kind of linear lighting, channel letter lighting, freezer case lighting, backlighting, or edge lighting applications.

This board can be used to test and evaluate the four-chip OSRAM OSTAR Stage LED. OSRAM OSTAR Stage is available in many different LED configurations, including the red, green, blue and white arrangement that is ideal for any color changing application, such as architectural and theatrical lighting. The board is designed so that each of the four color LEDs can be individually addressed or can be connected in other configurations, such as two strings of two LEDs, depending on driver specification and/or application requirements.
