Shidai Viaduct cuts through Binjiang District from south to north. It is not only the main channel connecting Binjiang District with the north bank of the Qiantang River, but also an important road for entering and exiting Hangzhou. As Hangzhou enters the “Qiantang River Era”, rapid development along the two banks of the river result in an increasing traffic burden on the Shidai Viaduct. The LED installation creates a safe driving environment with comfortable and bright lighting, and also serves as an attractive and colourful nighttime display.

Rows of linear lamps are concealed by the pier and illuminate the night with brilliant colors. LED energy-saving landscape lights also add glittering and radiant colours.

The lighting solutions for Shidai Viaduct from the Chinese luminaire manufacture ROLEDS are based on the DURIS S 5 LED components from Osram Opto Semiconductors. This LED is compact, efficient, and extremely flexible in forward voltage and luminous flux, maintaining a long service life even at high temperatures. With this technology, Osram Opto Semiconductors provides stable, colorful, and brilliant lighting for Shidai Viaduct.
