New outdoor portfolio illuminates garden highlights

Thanks to the high-quality epoxy package and silver leadframe, the new Duris S Outdoor versions deliver outstanding performance even in the harshest weather conditions. Their different footprints mean that the LEDs can meet an extremely wide range of customer requirements. The Duris S5 for outdoors has a footprint of 3.0 x 3.0 x 0.6 mm and an output of 1 W, the Duris S8 one of 5.0 x 5.0 x 0.7 mm and an output of 3-6 W, and the Duris S10 one of 7.0 x 7.0 x 0.7 mm and an output of 8-11 W. The compact dimensions, high light output and narrow beam angles enable lighting designers to select the right products based on the specific requirements, giving them even more freedom than ever.

In view of the high-quality materials and robust silicones used, the Outdoor versions in the Duris S family have a life of more than 50.000 hours and are exceptionally resistant to corrosion. Like all the members of the Duris S series, the new LEDs offer impressive efficiency, optimum light output and excellent light color. The Outdoor versions can be applied in parking lot illumination, security lights as well as in garden and bollard lighting.
