OSRAM Opto Semiconductors has a broad network of partners in the scientific community with connections at universities, universities of applied sciences and research institutes such as the Fraunhofer Institute. In addition, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors offers programs for Ph.D. students and graduates. We actively encourage the dialog between theory and practical applications and promote joint projects while developing the next generation of research and development teams.
Student designers of the College for Creative Studies and Visteon were recently involved in a joint project with OSRAM. The students had the opportunity to work on future vehicle lighting concepts with the technology and knowledge of OSRAM and Visteon.
Our company is a member of various research partnerships funded nationally as well as internationally and an initiator of publicly funded national and international projects. These partnerships and initiatives prepare the way for new and pioneering achievements. OSRAM Opto Semiconductors also plays an active role in projects run by the public sector.
