2011	R&D record for warmwhite LEDs R&D record for red LED ThinGaN chip production on 6-inch wafers OSRAM OSTAR Compact 2x2 is setting new standards in brightness for the projection market (Sept 27, 2011)	Electronic Design Magazine Award The OSRAM OSTAR Headlamp Pro and the OSLON Black Flat were selected for this year's best products. PACE Award OSRAM OSTAR Headlamp LED receives PACE Award for innovation in forward headlamp control.
2010		Karl-Heinz Beckurts Prize Scientists at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors are awarded the Beckurts Prize for developing the direct-emitting green laser.
